TURNAROUNDS
Our principal service is the support and counseling in turnaround cases. In these cases our main objective is to avoid unnecessary bankruptcy or liquidation by identifying short and medium range solutions to the financial situation of the company, negotiating terms with creditors, stipulating out of Court with lenders and reviewing the operating cycles and controls. Financing or investment opportunities are explored and tax claims reviewed. Payment plans with tax specialist and restructuring advisors can be in many cases the difference in a turnaround.
REORGANIZATIONS
Whenever a turnaround is not possible, but a Chapter 11 reorganization is feasible, we provide the technical support to bankruptcy attorneys and debtors to develop a successful reorganizations plan and reach the confirmation and final decree goals. Our service in this area includes planning, preparation of schedule drafts, operational reviews, monthly operating reports claims reviews and objections, liquidation analysis, classification and treatment of claims, disclosure statement and plan drafting, feasibility analysis cash flow projections, and reports on substantial consummation for the request of the final decrees.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As separate service, or as a part of turnarounds or reorganizations, we provide assistance in determining the appropriate entity to develop a new business, and setting it up with the required permits and licenses to operate. Assistance in this area also involves the tax, financial advice and accounting and systems consulting.
TAX ADVISORY
Our experienced associates assist our clients in preparation and filing of all annual, quarterly or monthly tax returns and resulting issues related to income tax, Federal or Commonwealth, unemployment, disability, Social Security, State Insurance Fund, Municipal licenses and sales taxes. We assist taxpayers to negotiate their debts with the related agencies and assist in tax investigations.
FINANCIAL ADVISORY
With more than 30 years of experience in financial and investing transactions, our associates can assist in the acquisition of debt, financing or equity plans to develop an appropriate capital structure for the client. We also provide assistance to negotiate restructuring of loans, discounted payoffs and property surrenders.
