Members Of
The Society of Certified Public Accountants of Puerto Rico protect the practice of the profession with the objective of maintaining the highest levels of ethics and profecional excellence. It represents the CPA in legislative and judicial forums to ensure that the law of public accounting of 1945, is fulfilled as amended.
The purpose of the American Bankruptcy Institute is to support the analysis of insolvency issues, both in the United States and internationally; to provide a source of education regarding these issues; and to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas among participants in the insolvency process.
The AICPA is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession, with more than 394,000 members in 128 countries and more than a 125-year heritage of serving the public interest. AICPA members represent many areas of practice, including business and industry, public practice, government, education and consulting. The AICPA sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, nonprofit organizations, federal, state and local governments. It develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination and offers specialty credentials for CPAs who concentrate on personal financial planning; fraud and forensics; business valuation; and information technology. Through a joint venture with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, it has established the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation to elevate.

professional association serving financial advisors, accountants, crisis
managers, business turnaround consultants, lenders, investment bankers,
attorneys, trustees and other individuals involved in the fields of business
turnaround, restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency.
